New Dress A Day went mobile today! It was a garage/estate sale kind of Saturday, so I hopped in my car, grabbed an iced coffee at McDonald's (I can't kick their vanilla ones), plugged a few addresses into my GPS, and took off! I figured it would be fun to share a few things that I saw and a few things that I ended up purchasing :) (PS, I'd love to see anything amazing you guys find on your thrifting adventures - send me photos and I'll share, just like with your creations! It's fun to see different thrifted goodies from all over the country and world!)
I found this bit of 80s amazingness but there was some black marks on the white leather and the seller wasn't coming down in price, so I passed even though it was pretty insane!
I walked into a room devoted to shoes next. The floor was covered!!
The jewelry section is where I found some total treasures! I'm a costume jewelry junkie, as you all know by now, so I had fun trying pieces on and seeing what worked on me! I ended up grabbing the five pieces in this pic which will all soon have some air time!
I think my favorite part of cruising around the city and making garage sale house visits is when there are unexpected moments like the below. This was my view from the yard of one of my stops.
I see this all the time, but don't have a lovely view of it from my yard - I have a view of a billboard :) Twas a super successful Saturday!
