It's Movember, friends!!
For those unaware, each November sprouts Movember which is the month-long movement responsible for your male friends, brothers, boyfriends, dads, cousins, and hubbys to start growing those staches on their faces, not just in the US but around the world to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male specific cancers.
My brother started growing one and I thought I'd make something special for it. Started with some felt from my batch and trimmed a rectangular shape.
I traced a picture of a stache with a fabric pen...
...and hot glued to a pin back and wore it out and about!
So, in honor of the holiday, I'm going to make a batch of these mustache goodies, post them on eBay, and donate the proceeds to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. I guess I'm a Mo Sista, per the PCF's description of MOVEMBER!
I'm aiming to have everything up over the weekend and will post the link here for those who are interested. PS, any awesome MO's I see while I'm out and about will hands down be getting a photo request from me to be shared. Who knew there were so many stache options!!
I'm proud of all those rad dudes out there who are rocking the stache this month to bring awareness - we'll get my brother's pic up here as soon as it starts taking shape! We can all be our own version of Magnum PI...
