NYC Signing is Cancelled :(

Hey guys!  Because of the weather, and Mayor Bloomberg's urge to have NY-ers stay in this evening, we're cancelling the NYC signing/DIY demo at Make Meaning tonight. I'm really sad I won't be able to see your faces this evening, however I want my East Coasters to stay warm, dry, and safe!  I'm heading to Boston though and will still be having a fun Saturday night party with my Bean-towners!

Also, a new signing was just set up on Long Island for Monday evening, to accommodate those on and close by to LI.

The NYC event will be rescheduled and we'll probably be looking at some time in the new year, when it's warmer (fingers crossed) and there are no snow/rain issues.  The outfit I was going to wear tonight will still be shot though...I'll post that later!!

Election Tuesday!!

It's been a busy Tuesday!  I had a shoot for Better Homes & Gardens' Better TV (it airs next week and I'll keep you all in the loop)...

...spent some time at 30 Rock-turned-Democracy Plaza, where NBC set up all their political coverage...

...and worked on another book signing that's happening on Long Island on Monday!!

A full outfit rundown is en route!  I have something fun to wear to the signing tonight at NYC's Make Meaning - still time to RSVP if you're in town and the new Noreaster coming in doesn't hit untili after!!

NY: Martha Stewart Monday!

My first full day in NY was spent doing lots of walking, which was absolutely amazing in the crisp, 50-degree weather!

LA is currently in the 90s, so I was extremely pleased to be in more normal November temperatures!!  I spent the morning at the Sirius XM offices...(still in Halloween mode, which I love!!)

...doing a spot with Martha Stewart Radio's "Morning Living" show!

I must say...wearing those headphones was totally interesting!  It felt like I was underwater, listening to my voice, when I was talking!!

The rest of the day was spent prepping for tomorrow (a fun stop with Better Homes & Gardens' Better TV, which will feature a brand new dress that I just finished :)

In the interim, I got to do a fun segment with Marie Osmond for her new show that aired last week!  It was such fun and I know with many of you dealing with power outages, I decided to hold off and wait to post now!  Hope you like...I'll do a rundown of a few of these pieces when I'm back in LA!!
