1 Day to Go! (& it's my birthday!!)

OMG!!  Just one day left until the book arrives!  And, it's my birthday!!  Best birthday present a girl could ask for.  (Plus this little treat of Sofia bubbles to sip as I write this, in the wee hours of my b-day!)

PS, it's the last day to pre-order and get your bookplate!  You have until 11:59pm tonight (10/15) to order and fill out the form on the BOOK page to get an adorable bookplate.  Not joking, they're super cute and have hangers on them!  While you do that, I'll be at the DMV getting my license renewed - I mean nothing says birthday more than the DMV.  I might bring cupcakes!

I got to spend my Sunday doing some wedding celebrating in Malibu!!  A full rundown will come tomorrow, but I wanted to show you guys the final dress I ended up wearing...

Thanks for all of your advice/input - I ended up going with the floral patterned piece for the beachy wedding!  You'll get the before shot tomorrow...how 'bout them apples?  Getting the before shot after seeing how the piece turned out??  I think you just might be surprised :)

2 Days to Go!

Hope the weekend is going awesomely well!  I chose my dress for the wedding (thanks for all the input!!) and it's ready to go for tomorrow.  I'm going to leave it a surprise, but I think you'll like!! I got to spend a day upcycling t-shirts today with my friends at Crafted!

For a fun T-shirt-turned-tote-bag project, we had our supplies ready to go...

3 Days to Go!

It's so weird writing 3 next to the book countdown title line!  Each day it gets closer, the crazier it feels!  Aaahhh!!  With 3 days to go, you still have time to pre-order and get hooked up with goodies!  (Click HERE to pre-order!)  I'm feverishly signing my name getting bookplates ready to go! I'm beginning to get my ensemble prepped for Sunday's wedding and have two options.  Looking for your advice again, friends!!  Here are the patterns/fabric close up...

What do you guys like?  Little background info that might assist with the decision...wedding is in Malibu and in the middle of the day.  Just want to get you in the loop as much as possible!

Thank you all for the input you gave yesterday with dye colors for my white dress.  I'm sorting through all the options and just when I think I know what I'm going to do, my mind changes when I read another comment.  The executive decision will be made tonight!

Also, I'm heading to Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles today to DIY some T-shirts!

It's a super fun, indoor, craft vendor marketplace in San Pedro and we're going to craft some totes/trick-or-treat bags out of old tees!  I'm so excited to scour all the vendors too...it's my birthday on Monday and I just might have to treat myself with something awesome and handmade!  Come down and get crafty if you're in the area!  (Facebook event info here!!)
