Week 46: Joan
Today’s piece was a gorgeously fabricked dress with fab gold collar detail that Joan sent my way in fall. Back when I thought I’d be doing a ‘Donation Week’ last year I gladly accepted and ended up holding onto it until now.
The size was off, the sleeves were big and I ultimately thought it would work better as a tunic of sorts, to lessen the busy-ness of the 60s pattern as much as I loved it.
Week 51: Caroline Part II
It’s Part II from yesterday’s “To Be Continued…” day using the second piece that Caroline from SC mailed my way. Polka dots for the Super Bowl and this fab vintage printed dashiki for today.
I LOVED this pattern – it was awesome but I had a whole tunic vision in my head for this though…
Day 337. 28 days and $31 left to go.
It’s day 7 of…

Up close and personal on this puppy has these lovely marks…
Someone got frisky with their BIC highlighter but that wasn’t going to stop me, especially with those fabu sequined cuffs and neckline! Ooh, and today, we’re not just going to dye. We’re going to tie dye!! Today’s pick? GOLDEN YELLOW!!
Day 272. 93 days and $94 left togo.
My ensemble for the day came from this hand painted puppy below…

Day 265. 100 days and $101 lefttogo.
So, today I’m heading on a little trip to NY – woo hoo for getting to head back to my home state!! Being that I’ll be on the red-eye flight and will most definitely sleep the entire way, I’m going for cozy and comfy.
This piece was just that.
I adore this fabric and must say that this cotton is literally the most luxe I’ve felt. Super worn in soft!! I wasn’t really feeling the neckline and the length as well, so I thought I’d take this down the tunic route! Continue reading…
