April is Earth Month, so I figured that it would be awesome to kick it off with a little green giveaway!

Monday Remake
My Easter outfit was the bees knees, but you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what I ended up wearing! Today’s piece was another ensemble I wore this weekend and I used a dress that I scored (and shot pre-red hair) in the fall.

I have been following your blog since I saw it on Yahoo, but even before I started reading your blog I had intentions of altering a turtleneck I was given as a Christmas present, 2 years ago.
Susan – Before
I really loved the purple hue and the soft feel of the fabric but HATED the actual turtleneck. I don’t like any neckline that is right up against my neck because it makes me feel like I am choking 
Will Susan just take it all off??
Monday Remake
This dress totally brought me back to the 90s. A little bit Reality Bites. A little bit Kelly Taylor. A little bit not right to be worn in its current state in 2013.

I’m not going to let this dress stay in the box with all my Melrose Place VHS tapes. It’s getting remade!! (PS, that box o’tapes got donated a bit back but yes, they definitely existed.)
So this little cold I’ve had has totally kicked my tush! I expected to be up and in action on Wednesday but that just didn’t happen. I’ve been taking a lovely cocktail of vitamins and cold meds, along with teas, juices, and water, and I’m finally feeling like this weekend will bring me days without coughing!! (Fingers crossed!!)
Since no remake was had today, I’m offering a little giveaway instead!!

I know it’s spring, but I couldn’t resist going with some black and metallics – I’ve been inside all week, so I haven’t seen a lick of sunshine and it still feels like winter to me. I’m excited for getting more hikes in during the longer days…hopefully this will come true next week after my cough attacks subside I will be getting lots of pieces together this weekend to make up for the loss of sewing while I’ve been sick. I’ve been sleeping a ton, which has been so great – I think I’ve slept more this week than all year so far!! Thanks to all for the sweet messages to feel better too – you guys are amazing!!
