This week was filled with so much love…thank you all for the beautiful comments about the book – I’m just over the moon!
In celebration, I thought this was the perfect little giveaway – a striped mirrored compact with my favorite French words – JE T’ADORE – and a pair of vintage clip on earrings. I love the red, black, white combo!!
Plus, the winner will get to see an “I adore you” reminder each time they use the compact, which is totally true.
OK, so what do you adore? Who gets the “je t’adore” compact in your life? I’m a little partial to my new baby cousin, Alara, whose cheeks, just by looking at them, can bring a smile to your face! She’s delicious and adore is the perfect word to describe her.
Leave a comment below and a winner will randomly get chosen next week! I’m a bit behind with giveaways, but winners will finally be announced this weekend from the past two weeks goodies, so there’s still time to sign up!!
My 4th of July ensemble is complete!! Here’s the before…
Here’s the continuation of yesterday’s paint drying and the beginning of the tape peeling process too!!
My anchor is starting to take shape!!!
The finished top looks like this…
Hello painted anchor It’s all ready to wear to the beach to celebrate the fourth! I paired it with some dark denim colored linen shorts from Forever 21 and a pair of Kimchi Blue yellow flats from Urban Outfitters.
Also, there’s nothing like getting into the full on red, white, and blue spirit with some painted nails!! I took my polish assortment and began to get artsy!
I started with a red base (Zoya Carmen) on all the nails…
…then got to some design making. I added a white (LA Colors)/white iridescent glitter (Wet n’ Wild) firework to the thumbs using a toothpick…
…a navy (NYC Color – Skin Tight Denim Cream) heart to the ring finger, and a multi-glitter (Wet n’Wild Party of Five) coat to the pinky nails!
Action shots tomorrow!
When I was asked to take charge on the crown/tiara front for a lovely friend of mine’s bachelorette party, I immediately said yes. I mean, there’s nothing I love more than ribbon, wire, rhinestones, and silk flowers!
This crown-veil wasn’t going to be your tradish wedding white/pearly/lace-y version either, it was going to be black, sparkly, and something straight out of a Tim Burton movie….
…literally my dream veil right now!!
I swiped this up as soon as I saw the sleeves!! I had my very own kimono in my hands, plucked from a pile of old vintage tossaways for just $1. Yep, I was pretty stoked with my find!!
I’m not going to keep it robe length – I have too many robes to begin with and this one deserves some public attention, so I’m hopping on the kimono jacket train like French Connection…
…and the always fashionable Cat Deeley (PS, can’t wait for SYTYCD!!)…
…for today’s reworking!
