When I was a kid I looked forward to that seasonal treat like no other - watermelon sherbet, chocolate chips, lemon sherbet, and some sketchy green coloring on the outside.
Unfortch there are no Friendly's establishments here on the west coast nor markets that carry this timeless (in my mind) treat, otherwise my freezer would embarrass me more than getting caught belting out Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' in my car by neighboring LA motorists. However, I embarrass myself all the time, so if anyone knows how I can get my hands on some this deliciousness (I'm not opposed to black market contraband Wattamelon Roll either), please share :)
