Hello middle of the week!  So nice to see your smiling and chilly face!  I’m very excited to say that Los Angeles is hitting the 50s today!!  Whoot, whoot, I’m loving this “cold” (for LA) weather.

The holidays are over, trees are on the curbside ready to be picked up, however the gifts are still being given.  I’ve been a busy bee working on some projects this week and will have something fun to show tomorrow.  For today, however, it’s time for some goodies to end up in your hands.

I put together a little pack of turquoise goods including a miniature blue dress form (because it’s awesome and you can use yours to hang jewelry from it like I do), a batch of teal rhinestones (in case you want to bedazz your dress form), a pack of sewing needles (to tie into the dress form theme), and a Maybelline eye shadow in Turquoise Glass.

    This is very tricky! There are too many colours that I adore :D My bedroom is a gorgeous, calm olive green, but my favourite colours to wear are scarlet or plum. If I have to choose a single on, then I’d go with plum…it’s what I wear on the most regular basis.

    Purple – and it needs to be a deep, rich, luscious purple. Pastels and pinky purples need not apply. Royal blue runs a very close second.

    Love this LA weather too. I live in South Pasadena and it’s wonderful here. I wear reds or rusty type shades. Love any color of the orange family from bright orange to dark rust. I would even paint one of my walls a rust shade but I live in an apartment and they won’t let me.     I love color, but right now I have “tidal wave” blue (super pearly turquoise aqua blue) on my nails…totally digging it and getting compliments too. I love greens and earthy tones, but will wear a shirt with orange in it just to up my mood.

    Happy New Year Marisa! How interesting that you ask about favorite colors as I’ve recently discovered that I have one. For years (the better part of 25-30) I thought black was my favorite color. If I enjoyed any other color else it was always in the earth tone family. My family used to always comment on my choice of dark/drab colors and I shied away from anything bright. Within the last 6-12 months I’ve learned that I absolutely adore anything in the turquoise spectrum from turquoise to teal to seafoam green. I’m stuck on anything seafoam green right now :-)

    I have always favored blue. But I have noticed as I am getting older I lean to red more. My living room walls are cinnamon, I adore red purses. I used to only carry black or brown. Now? lol I have, well had red, broke. I like pink also. Seems I am turning more to pastels, I even want to dye or dip my hair purple or blue.     Orange. Walls vary from terracotta, creamy cafe, dusky olive green. My son’s room is a flaming lime green called Lime Rickey, totally fun! Fingernails are usually a translucent color of orange, blue, or pink. Toenails are every wacky color under the son, right now a sparkley orange-y pink.

    my favorite color is teal. When we lived in an attic apartment and were allowed to paint it, the bathroom was a pretty ocean blue, the walls were guacamole and sour cream green (as my boyfriend called it) and we had a rich forest green accent wall, together they made a lovely shade of teal :)

    My favourite colour at the moment is lavender and mauve, anything in the purple hue. I have the cutest purple ballet flats I bought this summer and won an awesome summer paisley scarf in cream, purple, orange and red that I wear all the time, it ties so many of my outfits together even though it isn’t summer time at the moment. I have lots of mauve accessories and nail polish in many shades of purple and my lilac bush gives off the most heavenly smell when it blooms. So purple it is.

    I’m a pinks girl, though not usually baby pinks. My red lipsticks are on the fuschia side, and most of my nail polishes are the wine shades. Along the spectrum, I’m drawn to peachy-pinks, corals, lavendars, and berry colors.

    I have been in love with icy-cool blue. You know, like the blue of a glacier. Years ago I painted my living room walls this color and find it so soothing especially when paired with furniture in deeper brown and black tones. I wear the color often in sweaters and other tops and yes, nail polish. Any shade of blue gets my attention, but icy blue is the fave!

    I’m a huge fan of natural colors in decorating and clothes. Brown, grey, green are usually what I say when asked my favorites, but any color in nature is awesome. (I guess that means I love every color, haha.)

    When I was little (5-6 ish) I used to say my favorite color was yellow because I felt sorry for yellow. No one ever picked the yellow game piece or the yellow lollipop and I hated that yellow was left out. Finally when I got older (like 9) I felt like it was ok to admit that I really secretly loved red. I loved that red popsicles made your lips look like lipstick. When I was finally old enough to wear make up (16, Mom made me wait) I wore red and have worn red ever since. Same with my nails – but my nails are a glittery red that looks like Dorothy’s slippers. I once lined up all my nail polishes and realized I had every company’s brand of the same exact shade of red. Part of me still feels a little guilty about dumping yellow (or ‘lello’ as I used to call it). Btw, I LOVE your red hair!

    My favorite color would have to be blue-green, and by that I mean that almost foamy sea green or aqua colors. In truth though I like almost all shades of blue and green and, because of this, a good majority of all my cloths are this color. When I was little it was so bad that my mom eventually refused to buy any clothes that were near that shade : ).
