Outfit Rewind

Today we’re going to do a little outfit rewind!  This is a new themed post that I’m going to bring into the blog schedule.  I’ve accumulated so many pieces that I want to give new life to them and re-wear them in a totally new light.  New styling, different accessories…basically a post where you can get a 2-for-1, which I’m all about!

(ps, little side-note – we have some fun themed days coming into NDAD that will be rolled out little by little, that I’m super excited about!)

I felt ready for the farm with my red boots, however my new look feels much different.  Wanna see??

Bam!!  I paired my shirt with things from my own closet.

My favorite piece from this ensemble is the skirt…a TJ Maxx find from high school that’s old school Express.  Yep, it still fits, however it used to hit my knees.  Now it sits a bit higher on my waist!

Nine West Heels!

With Betsey Johnson knit tights (given to me by a friend), Nine West heels (a Marshalls purchase years ago that I have still held onto), a Buffalo Exchange yellow button down vest, and an costume owl necklace, my Part II look gives new flavor to the shirt.

    love the “kicking up the heels” in the last frame! I had that skirt too – now I’m an old, fat grandma, but kept some of the “youngish” skirts for granddaughter dress up.

    I like this idea! I keep thinking that you must have to have a closet the size of a house, with all of the remakes you do, so it’s fun to see them all mixed together into new outfits.

    Nine West are an AWFUL shoe company. Their shoes always give painful blisters and are especially difficult to walk in. >.>
    With that said, super cute outfit – totally looks like something Karen Gillan would wear on Doctor Who, minus the vest. She’s also a redhead too :)

      YES!! Totally Karen Gillan. These shoes are definitely a little uncomfortable without tights…I was going to get rid of them for that reason, however with a thicker knit, they actually weren’t that bad!
