Finally Home!!

It’s approaching 3am and I just got in from my day of travel that was full of drama!!  (You’ll get a new outfit post tomorrow.)

The day started off with blue skies…

Blue Skies!

…and then it all went downhill right after.  Hydraulic problems on the next flight, having to call a new flight crew in when the problem was resolved because the staff was going into overtime, seeing a rogue piece of luggage just hanging out on the tarmac with many, many vehicles passing by and almost driving over it…

Um, seriously?? It did finally get picked up after a good five minutes.  I was taking video :)

…deplaning with all our stuff only to re-plane minutes later, then waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for our luggage to come around the carousel.  We landed safely and that’s all that matters!

However, the highlight of the extremely long wait…aside from watching the tweens go gaga over two of the Jonas brothers (Nick & Joe – I had to look them up to know which ones were actually there, because I’m not up on my Jonas knowledge) who were by the carousels waiting for their luggage from Vail, there was a lookalike Heisenberg from my flight…

Can’t wait for Breaking Bad!!!

I kept on thinking he was Bryan Cranston in character just to make the time go by as he paced around.  Oh, the things you come up with when you’ve got lots of time on your hands!  (PS, for those non-Breaking Bad-ers, Heisenberg is Bryan Cranston’s character on the show.)

OK, it’s pass out time for me – I’m about ready to collapse!  New post tomorrow – happy, happy Thursday!

Tomorrow’s outfit is the one you sewed on the plane?
At least the piece of luggage wasn’t run over. I’d have to warn my mom to take better care of breakables when she comes back from Florida!

Glad you are home safe & sound! But highly disturbed that a random piece of luggage would be left out there on the tarmac that long ~ doesn’t make ya feel very secure now does it?????? Dang man…..

Glad you got home safely. What an adventure! I also like to make up stories about the people I see. The only famous person I have ever seen was “Booger” from Revenge of the Nerds. (Never in my life would have imagined myself writing that word.) He was riding the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty with his daughters. I took lots of pictures of my daughter with him conveniently in the background.
