I’ve been getting my crafty on making a slew of fun mustache pins and key chains out of felt to celebrate Movember!!

They’re all done and just got posted on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/newdressaday) with proceeds going to benefit the Movember charity!!  Yay for mustaches!!

I made them in traditional hair colors – sorry no blue :( – and there’s an array of styles from the fu manchu (which is pretty rad) to the walrus style, to these guys…

    There’s an adorable guy named Nick who works at the cafe where I spend half my waking hours (Jones Coffee in Pasadena, CA). The dude has the most glorious mustache going on right now (it’s usually accompanied by a beard, but he’s just been donning the mustache lately).     I agree with Sue — Tom Selleck! I used to tell students that their papers would be graded over the weekend unless Tom Selleck called. One group chipped in and bought me a tv tray with his picture, which I still have . . . somewhere . . .

    Last year Joe Flacco (quarterback for the Ravens) had an awesome Fu Manchu ‘stache – and we almost made it to the Super Bowl! I thought that moustache was pretty ballin’ :)

    One of my coworkers is doing Movember, and he has grown the creepiest ‘stache ever. It’s dark and super thick…I have a hard time taking him seriously now when we are in meetings! =)

    Bald John Green has a pretty epic mustache, but if I have to choose a real life person it would be Burt Reynolds. I’m surprised no one has mentioned him yet as he has a fantastic mustache.

    In high school we had a sub bus driver that had the longest mustache! I think he had to turn sideways to get on and off the bus!! It looked like the horns on long horned cattle!!

    soooooo because i’m a baseball fanatic, my fav stash comes from Dennis Eckersley (see picture), but I will also give props to the boyfriend who for Halloween this year was a Reno 911 cop and decided to grow the same stash look that he had for his costume for Movember. It was comical (was because it didnt last more than two weeks–thank goodness! couldnt take the man seriously!)

    Tom Selleck, of course. What makes Tom’s lip fur so perfect is that it has the same color, density, and weight as his eyebrows. When the mustache and eyebrows don’t match, the face is unbalanced.

    Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds are my favorite mustache guys. My son has now started to sport the stache and he has long handles… looks weird because he is my baby, not a man in my eyes… (He is 26 yrs old LOL)

        I get the prostrate cancer connection but why are there mustaches on sweaters at Delia’s? I spent two hours at the mall today with my daughter looking for something with a mustache on it for her to give to a friend. I asked my daughter about it and she said they are “cute.” I said they are cute if and only if they are on a cute guy—otherwise I don’t get it. She responded by rolling her eyes, “Oh, mom…”

    Salvador Dali had the weirdest looking stash, so unique. It fit his persona as a creator of Surrealism. Yosemite Sam had one that fit his personality to a tee, but he is a cartoon character so it may not count.

    Top moustache definitely goes to the Starbucks barista I saw in Boston… short beard with a full, waxed-into-little-curlicues moustache. It was so brilliant I had to randomly compliment him on it.
