I just picked up a new Burt Bees gloss for myself at Whole Foods so I thought to myself, one for me, one for you!  Along with the gloss, I’m giving away a pair of gold costume earrings with dangling black beads.  Shimmer on the lips, shimmer on the ears!

To enter, leave a comment below of your favorite lip care products.  What shades/styles/brands do you love wearing?  I’m addicted to MAC’s lip glass just for the goopy, glossy feeling on my lips which I love.  I have multiple little plastic Vaseline containers too for those super duper dry days.  Also, I love Vaseline to put on my dry skin (elbows especially when I’m working on the floor!!) because it’s a miracle worker.  You know who else loves Vaseline?

(Best video EVER!)  I just might have to bedazz a Vaseline container soon for another giveaway… “Your wildest dreams have come true!!!!!”

    for dry chapped lips i love cherry carmex in the squeeze tube or maybellines baby lips and as for lip gloss im in love with Clinique plump and shine in sugar plum; which looks totally amazing over my clinique angelic lipstick or just alone!

    I have dry lips all the time so I’m never without Blistex Deep Renewal topped with plain old Vaseline.

    I have a bunch of lipstick and glosses, but with the lipsticks I always have to put some lip balm underneath or they are just too dry.

    I have a passionate love for Blistex Silk & Shine. We have been besties since high school. Burt’s Bees (the original) has been my runner up since then, and my new love EOS is amazing, but a pain to carry around in a pocket. :)

    I usually stick to Burt’s Bees plain lip balm but I got crazy and bought a Neutrogena Revitalizing lip balm the other day and I LOVE it, I’m going to buy a few more in different colors.

    That video is amazing! I confess to loving Fresh Sugar lip gloss in Rose. It adds that bit of zing and a nice soft sheen. And Paula’s Choice with sunscreen for the outdoors. Haven’t tried the Burt’s Bees one yet, but often tempted!

    I must confess that my favorite lipstick is Clinique’s regular lipstick in Surprise! I’ve worn the color for years – it’s a classic red that’s just a shade or two darker than my actual lip color.

    That Tyra clip is HILARIOUS. I am a Burt’s Bees fan myself; I worked down the street from their old office until they moved recently, and I scored big time at the factory sale they had last year at the local Earth Day celebration. I tend to gravitate toward the L’Oreal Colour Riche lipsticks, and my go-to tinted lip balm is the very old-school CoverGirl LipSlicks in Hipster!

    I feel like I need to go all Tyra and start shouting, “You get coconut oil! And YOU get coconut oil!” Seriously, that stuff is *amazing* for lips, face, elbows, cracked heels, you name it! But my sister brought me a Burt’s Bees gloss in the hospital right after I’d had my third baby, and having the little bit of colour and shine to go along with the moisture really perked me up – and made me ready for all those new-mama photos. :)

    I’ve been using the Un-Petroleum Natural Lip Balm in Cherry. It smells delicious and I feel better staying away from petroleum. It doesn’t go on as smooth as some others though. I also am a fan of the Eos lip balm because of those cute ball containers. I rarely do color.

    I use coconut oil. It reminds me of Hawaiian Tropic sun tan oil.( I don’t even know if they still make it. ) I love the beach & the smell of coconuts takes me to the beach…. Ahhhhh

    I love Burt’s Bees. But I also love the CO Bigelow lip shines. I caught a great sale at the semi annual sale where they had a 5 pack originally $15 at 75% off. So I bought 4 packs and have got them in every purse, bag or any other place I can think of. I am never without.

    I love Bag Balm. It is like vaseline but stays on longer. I use it on my lips and any other dry skin. One application stays on forever. I use it at night, especially when I am sick, because it will keep my lips moisturized all night.

    My favorites are MAC’s Cultured Lip glass and MAC’s Goldensoft Lip Gelee. I put on a little lip balm/moisturizer underneath either of those to keep my lips from getting dry.

    I LOVE Burt’s bees lip gloss. That’s the only one I use! I used to use Carmex when I was a kid, but now I’ve found drinking LOTs of water keeps them moister.

    I love, love, love Burt’s Bees lip balm, mostly the original beeswax but anything by Burt’s Bees is super fantastic! It’s a serious addiction. I stash them everywhere, in the car, in my purse, at work, at home. It’s my absolute fave lip balm!

    I tend to wear nude lipsticks (Revlon has a couple of shades I love) a lot of the time. When I go for color, it’s frequently mauves (hard to find these days although fall is looking promising) or cool pinks or warm purples. Revlon and Loreal are my favorite brands. My lip balm I get in a jar from a soap/lotion makers supply place, and scent, tint and pour it into tubes myself!

    I love Clinique’s Superbalm Moisturizing gloss in Grapefruit! It’s a great gloss that really lasts with just a hint of color.

    I make my own lip gloss and add flavour with fruity essential oils (mmm sublime lime). I also love Nivea’s Essential lip balm and have a couple of different colour Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers on hand for a hint of colour.

    I have a THING about always having something on my lips. I hate hate hate the feeling of dry lips, and mine are really crinkly so they need moisturizer constantly. Burt’s Bees is my fav, especially their tinted gloss, as I feel like I’m having a bit of color without dealing with goopy, sticky gloss or flaky lipstick.

    Also, is Vaseline really that amazing? I figured it would just sit on the skin and be gloppy.

    Burt’s Bees is my favorite and what I use every day. Vaseline skeeves me–I just don’t like the idea of smearing petroleum on myself. And that video? All I can say is: WTF?!

      i’m right there with ya! no thanks petroleum! my first Pediatrician told me to put it on my one-week-old baby girl’s privates INSTEAD of unscented cornstarch for diaper rash…i never went back hahahaha

    I watched an old “Six Feet Under” episode last night and learned another use of Vaseline: you smear it on your face before getting in a fight so the other girl can’t scratch you.

    I mostly wear lip balm every day and I actually make my own in my favorite smells like Coconut, Red Velvet and Mango. I had the hardest time finding a coconut lip balm I loved, so I made my own and then started selling it on Etsy (ripeshop). But when I want to glam it up, I like MAC Ruby Woo and Revlon Fire and Ice. Red lipstick does so much to make you feel glamorous and old school. I also love hot pink too for the summer, and my faves are MAC Girl about Town and Cover Girl Spellbound.

    I love that tingle I get after using Burt’s Bees or Softlips. As for lipstick, I normally wear the most orange red I can find. Haha I like how Tyra’s doing “the Oprah” in her video. You get a Vaseline! You get a Vaseline! Everybody gets a Vaseline!

    Ooh, you’re my kinda girl! I love Burt’s Bees, and I use the Peony shade. I also LOVE Alba’s minty lipgloss in the shade Bloom. I’m a sucker for any kind of lip glosses that come in pots too. No lipstick for me.

    Burt’s Bees lip products are my favorite. My lips are very sensitive to lipsticks and/or scented lip balms, and Burt’s Bees is one of the only products that my lips don’t have a bad reaction to.

    I fell in love with Lush while living in Japan. My favorite is their honey lip balm. I’ve gotten it in England as well and loved it, but when I ordered it from the North America shop after moving home it just wasn’t the same – waxy and horrible. I have a little of my good Japanese stuff yet, but I’m still looking for a replacement. There’s a line of cheap makeup in Japan called Kate, so of course I had to buy some red lip gloss. It’s fabulous!

    When I was a teenager, I was pretty much obsessed with Blistex Medicated (in the blue tub). I recently went to visit a cousin that I haven’t seen since then and I pulled out my trusty Blistex and she started laughing and teasing me that I haven’t moved on from my Blistex. I’m loyal.

    Ok, my new lip treatment is Tarte maracuja shine lip gloss in Blissful. Leaves my lips moist, and a kind of tingly feeling. My old go to lip balm is Avon Dew Kiss Lip Dew. Always works in the dry winter days of Chi-town!

    This was great because I actually use vaseline on my face and lips! I’m allergic to fragrance and Proplylene Glycol (which is in about every cream), and tried so many things and vaseline works! I’ve read that the molecules in vaseline are too large to absorb into your skin, but it seems to work for me and no aweful breakouts!

    I was just wondering why they are going crazy for Vaseline? is it a new product in the US? in Aust, no one thinks anything of vaseline, its an old persons product. lol
