I’ve been obsessing over orange lately – not sure if it’s because I’m seeing it splattered through all of the magazines I’ve been sorting through or if it’s just permeating through my head from the sun…I’m totally living in a little sea of orange.  I even found an amazing orange-y dress over the weekend that I can’t wait to redo and I’m also having some fun with dye!

So with all of my orange-ness going on, today’s giveaway is in the citrus family…a vintagey fabric beaded bracelet and a lip gloss with an orange shimmer.  I have one of these glosses and I’m obsessed.

    I found this dress that isn’t burnt orange, just a little softer. I am so excited to pair it with black or brown because the tone won’t make me look like an early Halloween decoration. Oranges and purples are being pulled to the front of the closet this fall.

    I’ve never been a big fan of the color red on me, but in the past couple years, I’ve found that a bright rust color goes well. I have a suede-like jacket in rust w/ a paisley silky skirt that I just LOVE to wear. I found the whole outfit at Goodwill for only $5.99 & it looks brand new!

    Turquoise is my most favorite color in the world! It’s the color
    of the ocean and is soothing, magical and when I were it I always feel
    beautiful, dreamy and girly. It’s my dream to be the Mrs. T of turquoise and
    wear layered necklaces of squash blossoms dazzled in turquoise, numerous cuffs
    and every finger to have a turquoise ring. My bedroom is even painted the
    lovely color! Not many people are brave enough to wear this vibrant color, but
    I think it would look amazing on you!

    We have a bathroom which is accented with only orange accessories ! In our old house we even had one with orange tile imported from England. Such a happy color!

    You remember that feeling of a brand new box of crayons and you get to pick the perfect color with the unused point to use first?! Red-orange was ALWAYS the color I chose to use first. (Even today!)
    I am very much looking forward to Fall and I can’t wait to wear the warm colors of the crisp season… brown, burnt orange, eggplant, burgundy.

    I’ve got a fabulous deep purple denim miniskirt that I wear all the time. It goes with nearly everything, and I can take it into autumn with tights and boots. I’m most excited to wear it with a sweater I knit. The yarn goes between purple and green shades, and I just have one more sleeve to sew into place. (Love knitting – sewing seams, not so much!) It’s tunic-length, three-quarter sleeve, and will look amazing with my skirt.

    My daughter loves orange! For college I got her this cool orange rug she named “Wookie”. 6 years later she still has Wookie and it is the favorite place for the “grandkitties” to sleep.

    I favor blues and reds, but yes, fall is coming and orange is lovely. Your eggplant quip reminded me of a craft project using carrot pieces, sewn onto a string, allowed to dry for many days, and then varnished . . . looked quite a bit like coral, actually . . .

    I actually lovelovelove wearing a deep, rich orange–like a spiced pumpkin color. One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is an orange cap-sleeve turtleneck sweater, and I think this lip gloss & bracelet would look great with it! ;)

    I am lucky to have skin tone that goes with almost every color… I particularly like the ones not everyone can wear. Orange and red are at the top of my list, (my hair is even red!) melon and raspberry are more of my favorites… Currently my hair is red, my favorite pick me up color, with purple ends.     Fall means I can break out rust, gold, and other jewel tones, my favorite of which is rust. Spring/summer meant bright oranges but fall means the orange takes on richer tones and hues.

    I was shopping today and noticed the fall colors are all out. My favorites for this year are going to be anything Orangey or Rust (always my favs) and I am really liking the mustard yellow things I am seeing. Not one of my usual favorites, but with the shapes and accessories in it that I saw today, I think it will be strong in my fall choices this year.

    I’m ready for Reds, corals and purples, maybe some grays or shades of black, all summer I’ve been missing my dark colors, neons were really big but I was starting to get blinded by them!!! Give me some old-fashioned darker hues, I’m starving for them!

    I’m always excited for fall/winter because jewel tones look best on me. Oxblood burgundy has been one of my favourite colours for a while now, and it’s very popular this fall, so I will be able to find great burgundy pieces in stores. I’m excited!
