I am totally in love with lamp posts. There weren’t any on our street growing up and I was always jealous of streets lined with them, so these ones were really making my boat float!
Another random obsession – miniatures and things that are replicas of real things. Like food for example…
Hey friends! Today’s post is going to be quicker than planned – the ‘charming’ motel we’re road-tripping at is having some Wi-Fi issues. More fun and fab pics tomorrow for sure…
Family mini holiday up to the Central Coast of California began with a stop at Chick-Fil-A where my brother got a peppermint milkshake for breakfast.
I got fries and yogurt, so no judgement, obviously
Right before the holidays I had been doing some eBay scouring. I find myself starting to search for that one thing I’m looking for and then go off on tangents, looking at other stuff from the same sellers, as well as the pop up boxes of other things eBay thinks you’d be into. I’m such a sucker, I click on everything I had been wanting to find some sort of vintage JETS jewelry for the longest time and began a little search and came across the below.
A vintage JETS charm that I scored for 99 cents just arrived! Time to get it neck ready!
Today’s piece came from my gal Erin, who’s grad schooling her way through Kent State!
“Dear Marisa – Hello! Long time listener, first time caller note!”
PS, best letter intro I’ve received.
“The muumuu has been at the bottom of my closet since August, at which I had high hopes of acquiring a sewing machine from Santa in the near future. Well Santa has come and gone. He ate the cookies, drank the milk, and forgot to put a Singer under the tree I bought a hand held Singer Sew Quick in a last “stitch” (har har) effort to execute my vision. Obviously, no luck. It is now yours to do with what you wish!”
Before we begin, can we take a minute to check out this fab bubble-lope? Love!!
Time to make this muumuu work!
I hope everyone is recovering well from the relaxing (hopefully) weekend!!
I got amazing photos sent my way – my favorite was this winner that JS sent with his lovely cousin holding up a vintage homemade Christmas stocking crafted in the early 80s.
I was in a food coma for most of the day but took some outside photos of the LA landscape…
