Week 47: Dye Tutorial!
I’ve been getting lots of emails sent my way about using dye and when to use a stove top versus a washing machine, so I figured that a tutorial was in need 
Yay tutorial!!
I took an old H&M cotton dress from my closet and decided to give it a whirl…
Dye Tutorial Dress!!
Went with some Fuchsia RIT Dye…
The color of choice...
…and got the process rolling!!
Brand new dress and an easy, breezy process? Gold. Can’t wait for the weather to really warm up – this is going to be the perfect over the bathing suit sundress, to beach it on the Pacific Ocean or at the neighborhood pool (aka nearby hotel pool that I like to sneak into that happens to be in my neighborhood…shhh!)

Week 47: Abigail
Today’s dress was a fun package to open…light blue, lace, and Little Bo Peep-y!! This fell into my mailbox from Miss Abigail in TN.
“This came from a bin of costumes at my church’s thrift store. Perhaps you can dress up and wear this to a theme party? Work your magic ”

I loved the blue shade. Totally pastel and getting me more into the spring spirit!! Daylight Savings is next week and I’m counting down the days. Lose an hour, who cares!! More sunlight in the evening…woo hoo!!
It’s dress prep time as I have a very important brunch with dear friends.
Week 48: Laura’s NDAD Creation
I love it when I get emails from the youngins’. I’m still totally young myself, but it’s awesome when I get emails coming in from those born the same year as when I got my favorite velvet red J Crew pea coat in high school (that I totally adore and whip out during special occasions) that’s now deemed ‘vintage.’
Today’s remake comes from my gal Laura who happens to share the same last name as some of my favorite chocolates…

She’s a college freshman in Huntingdon, PA which I remember fondly back in those high school days I mentioned earlier…I spent a week at Juniata College one summer for the “Volleyball Express” volleyball camp located in that Pennsylvania hood. I think I was traumatized by the intense workouts and the heat that I swore off going to any school in PA

Week 48: Oscar Dress
So…we’re doing a little recap of the Oscar dress from this weekend for today’s post. I had a fab copycat outfit for today, photos were taken, but one slight snafu…camera went MIA. Looking into all avenues of this abduction and I hope that it resurfaces and it wasn’t just scooped up by someone at lunch as their electronic doggie bag. Otherwise we’ll have to start fresh…
