Another NY day that had rain on the agenda, but that didn’t stop me from wanting to be just a little glam. I wanted to continue painting the town red and I was going to do it in this!
OK, this totally struck my fancy because of the color and those delicious ruffles on the left side of the dress. Today’s piece was one that I absolutely adored. The skirt was way too long for me and it was a little too fitted for my tasted. If it’s going to be long, I want it flowy and swishy.

Today’s outfit was chosen from a fun little collaboration I did with Borders on their Facebook page where viewers got to pick which outfit I was going to prep for today. For those of you who didn’t see it, here’s what we were working with!
Oof! won with 49% of the votes, so that’s the dress that got donned this torrential downpour of a Sunday on the streets of Manhattan (and Queens for a minute).
This dress was a sheer, delightful lavender frock that I had some big ideas for. The flowers on the fabric around the neck and down the center of the dress were what really brought me it. I just wanted to make a few small changes to really make it chic. Continue reading…
